UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
This portion of my site provides various projects that I completed as an undergraduate student as a Human Resource Development minor.
Visual Literacy
Visual literacy is all about knowing how to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning
from information presented in the form of an image. In this course I learned how to create my own design layout for PowerPoint using Photoshop CS6.
Occupational Task Analysis
The following is a Performance Improvement Proposal that was completed for Festival Dining Hall at James Madison University. I worked with a team of five other individuals and we created an online system for employee scheduling. On the left you can click the image to view a PDF version of the proposal we created. The proposal includes various Human Resource Development tools such as the ADDIE model, fish bone diagram, flowcharts and more. On the right there is a link to the online training that I personally created using Jing. The training video must be opened via Internet Explorer.
Designing Programs and Materials
This was another course where I worked for an off-campus client, the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. I worked with a team of four others for this project and we created a back safety training proposal as well as an interactive PowerPoint and quiz using Adobe Captivate.
